Fortune Telling

Things that you, the reader, probably did not expect:
1. Me using the fortune teller in a 4koma
2. unironically
3. in his human form

Things that I, the author, did not expect:
1. Doing hours of actual research on Tarot cards
2. for a 4koma
3. and creating a contextually meaningful reading, despite the fact that nobody would understand it

I'd post some kind of essay explaining what it means, but I don't think anybody really cares for those. If anybody does bother figuring out what the reading means, though, I'll give them some e-cookies. One thing I will note is that Tarot cards did not originate in Japan, even though JoJo and Persona use their motifs. I couldn't find any information on when they were first introduced to the country, but they do exist in modern Japan, so perhaps the fortune teller acquired these from Kourindou? Also, I originally intended to just have a bunch of death cards, but apparently there is only one copy of each major arcana in a deck. In my efforts to be authentic... this comic was almost late for 4koma Friday. ^^;
